Ola electric scooter gets record 1 lakh bookings in 24 hours. Subtleties here

Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal on Saturday reported that the much-expected Ola e-scooter has collected 1 lakh bookings in only 24 hours of opening of pre-dispatch bookings, making it the ‘most pre-booked scooter’ on the planet. Ola Electric had declared the launch of bookings on July fifteenth at a symbolic amount of ₹499 on its official site.

“India’s EV upheaval is off to a dangerous beginning. Colossal because of the 100,000+ progressives who’ve gone along with us and saved their scooter,” Bhavish Aggarwal said on Twitter.

“I’m excited by the tremendous reaction from customers across India for our first electric vehicle. The extraordinary demand is an obvious sign of moving consumer inclinations to EVs,” Bhavish Aggarwal said in a statement.

“This is a colossal advance forward in our mission to change the world to practical mobility. I thank every one of the consumers who have booked the Ola Scooter and have joined the EV unrest. This is just the start!”

The new Ola electric scooter is probably going to go on special in the country in the not so distant future.

Ola Electric has claimed that the scooter will get top tier boot space too. Moreover, the new scooter will get an application based key for a keyless encounter.

Ola has claimed that electric scooter will come with ergonomic seating. The company likewise claims the scooter will come with “unrivaled cornering” capacity just as “class-driving acceleration”.
