Delhi University admissions are starting from August 2 without any entrance test

The much discussed Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is probably not going to be carried out this year and the Delhi University (DU) will lead merit-based confirmations like each year, said sources.

The confirmation cycle for undergrad (UG) courses will start on August 2 while the enlistment interaction for postgraduate (PG), MPhil and Ph.D will begin on July 26. The timetable of placement tests for the PG courses will be declared later after the enlistment interaction.

The subtleties of the affirmation cycle will be unveiled on Monday. Senior member, Admissions, Professor Pinki Sharma, said, “We are yet to get an official conclusion on CUCET. In this way, the entrance advisory board has chosen a conditional date to begin the enlistment cycle for UG and PG courses. The presently concluded date is for merit based affirmation. On the off chance that CUCET isn’t executed, the college will begin the enlistment cycle from the said date for the legitimacy based affirmation.”
