Healthy Snacking Startup Wonderland Foods Raises Rs 140 Crore – Plans Big Leap in India’s Food Market

Delhi NCR-based healthy snacking brand Wonderland Foods has raised a whopping Rs 140 crore in its latest funding round, led by Asha Ventures and BII. The startup, known for its innovative range of nuts and dry fruit snacks, is set to use the funds to expand distribution, launch new products, and create over 1,000 jobs, primarily for women.

A Game-Changer in India’s Snacking Industry
Wonderland Foods has carved a niche in the growing healthy snacking segment, selling its products across modern retail chains and top e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and Zepto. With nearly 1,000 employees, the brand emphasizes empowering women in its production facilities.

Next Phase of Growth
The fresh capital injection will fuel Wonderland’s plans to introduce innovative, value-added products and set up a green processing facility in Greater Noida, a venture backed in partnership with the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This greenfield nuts and dry fruits processing unit will generate employment for over 1,000 women, boosting India’s food processing ecosystem.

Founders Speak
Rakesh Gupta, Founder, and Anubhav Gupta, Managing Director, said, “At Wonderland, we’ve always believed that quality and trust are the foundation of a strong consumer brand. This funding marks a pivotal moment for us as we scale our distribution, launch new products, and take the next big leap in our growth journey.”

Why This Matters
India’s food processing sector is poised for massive growth, and startups like Wonderland Foods are driving innovation, sustainability, and employment. The new green processing facility will not only expand production capabilities but also support women empowerment and regional economic development.

Investors Bet on the Healthy Snacking Boom
Asha Ventures and BII’s investment signals confidence in India’s health-conscious consumer market. Analysts suggest that brands focusing on nutritious and clean-label snacks are likely to see exponential growth in the coming years, especially as urban consumers increasingly shift toward healthier eating habits.

The Road Ahead
With this funding, Wonderland Foods is ready to scale nationwide, strengthen its supply chain, and reach millions of health-conscious consumers. By focusing on innovation, sustainability, and social impact, the startup aims to set a benchmark for India’s snacking industry.
