Clensta has raised Rs 20 cr in a Series A funding

D2C brand Clensta has raised Rs 20 cr in a Series A funding drove by Venture Catalysts and Inflection Point Ventures. Stitch Angels, N+1 Capital (RBF) and different investors also participated in the round.

The subsidizes raised will be utilized to scale up the company’s sales, help marketing and expand the brand’s online and offline presence across India.

Started in 2016 by Puneet Gupta, Clensta is a D2C personal and home care startup what started with the flagship items based on Waterless Technology (Waterless Body bath and Shampoo) to enable bathing without the utilization of water.

The company operates both in the B2B and B2B2C section and is as of now targeting the $6.2B Indian Home Care market.

Clensta has north of 30 items in its portfolio and has become 4X since last fiscal. The firm has achieved a CAGR of more than 130% and aims to earn Rs 1,000 crore incomes in the following 5 years.
