Self-drive car rental company Zoomcar has announced the launch of its operations in Indonesia and Vietnam

Self-drive car rental company Zoomcar has announced the launch of its operations in Indonesia and Vietnam. The expansion follows its new foray into international markets with its footprints in Philippines and Egypt to assist ramp with upping their business.

The Bengaluru-headquartered company has appointed Leo Wibisono Arifin as the Vice President and Country Head of Indonesia operations, said Zoomcar in a press release.

Kiet Pham joins Zoomcar as Vice President and Country Head for the company”s expansion into Vietnam, the statement said.

Floated by Greg Moran and David Back, Zoomcar allows clients to lease cars on hourly, daily, week after week or month to month basis. It utilizes more than 300 individuals and operates in more than 50 urban communities across India. At present, the company claims to have more than 7,000 cars on its platform with a presence across five nations.

Earlier in 2020, Zoomcar launched Zoomcar Mobility Services, the company’s venture SaaS based versatility arrangements which offers covering white-labeled membership services and IoT based driver behavior monitoring arrangements.
