PhysicsWallah Aims for ₹1,000 Crore in Offline Revenue by FY25

Expanding Horizons: A Major Offline Push

PhysicsWallah, the popular online coaching platform, has ambitious plans to generate ₹1,050 crore in net revenue from its offline operations in FY25. To achieve this goal, the company is set to open 75 new centers across both existing and new cities, signaling a significant expansion of its offline presence.

New Centers in Key Cities

The expansion will include new centers in cities like Udaipur, Pune, Akola, and Indore. Additionally, PhysicsWallah is doubling down in major metropolitan areas such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi. Excitingly, the company is also branching out into new regions, with plans to establish centers in Jabalpur, Pulwama, Baramulla, and Chennai.

This move reflects PhysicsWallah’s commitment to making quality education accessible to students across the country.

Current Operations and Growth

As of now, PhysicsWallah operates 124 offline centers in 94 cities. With the addition of 75 new centers, the company will increase its offline footprint to around 200 centers, primarily focusing on North India while also eyeing expansion into South India.

Ankit Gupta, the CEO of the company’s offline centers division, shared that the revenue from offline operations has already grown by an impressive 52% compared to the previous year. The offline business, which launched in 2021, currently contributes around 45% of PhysicsWallah’s overall revenue.

The Vision Behind the Expansion

Gupta emphasizes the company’s vision: “We still believe that there is a huge space where we can set up our physical centers because we want to make education accessible to the entire country.” This mission is driving their rapid expansion, aiming to reach more students who prefer in-person learning.

Funding Boost

In addition to its growth plans, PhysicsWallah recently closed a substantial financing round of $210 million on September 20. This funding will help support their expansion efforts and ensure they have the resources necessary to scale effectively.

Conclusion: A Bright Future for Education

PhysicsWallah’s aggressive expansion into offline education is a testament to its commitment to providing accessible and high-quality learning experiences. With its goal of achieving ₹1,050 crore in revenue and a growing number of centers, the company is well-positioned to make a significant impact on the education landscape in India.

As the demand for educational resources continues to grow, PhysicsWallah is ready to meet the challenge, ensuring that students across the country have the opportunity to succeed.
