Introduction

Newmi Care, a health and wellness platform dedicated to women’s health, has successfully raised $1.5 million (approximately ₹12.6 crore) in its latest seed funding round. This round was led by Sprout Venture Partners and included contributions from various investors such as a leading family office, LetsVenture, Sarcha Advisors, Key Ventures Forum, and several angel investors.

Funding Details and Expansion Plans

The recent funding will enable Newmi Care to expand its reach and enhance its services. The startup, based in Gurugram, plans to open additional clinics in northern and western India to offer improved outpatient services for women. Additionally, Newmi Care aims to focus on technological advancements and product innovation, as well as expand its team to support its growth objectives.

About Newmi Care

Founded in May 2022 by Aditi Mittal and Sanchit Agarwal, Newmi Care addresses a broad spectrum of women’s health issues. These include menstrual, sexual, and hormonal health, fertility, maternity, menopause, and cancers related to women’s reproductive organs. Since its inception, the platform has serviced over 60,000 women across 400 cities in India.

Newmi Care has also launched unique offerings such as women-centric outpatient department (OPD) insurance products in partnership with major insurers. Currently, the startup operates ten clinics in the Delhi/NCR region and plans to significantly broaden its footprint.

The founders of Newmi Care expressed their commitment to transforming women’s outpatient care in India. “We are on a mission to simplify outpatient care for women and bring women’s health to the forefront. This capital infusion is a step towards solving women’s health issues at scale in India,” Mittal and Agarwal stated.

Investor Support and Market Potential

Sahil Gupta, Partner at Sprout Venture Partners, emphasized the growing market opportunity for women’s health services in India. “There is a clear opportunity to build a trusted brand in the women’s health lifecycle space. With increasing awareness among the next generation of women, this market is poised for significant growth,” Gupta said.

Rohit Chanana, Partner at Sarcha Advisors, also voiced his support for the founders. “We are proud to support Sanchit and Aditi in their mission. We believe in their vision and look forward to seeing positive outcomes from their efforts,” Chanana remarked.
