Mamaearth shared the news in a stock exchange filing, emphasizing that Chauhan’s departure is due to personal matters. In his farewell letter to CEO Varun Alagh, Chauhan expressed gratitude for the support he received during his time at the company and wished Honasa Consumer continued success.
Jayant Chauhan’s Journey:
Chauhan joined Mamaearth in November 2020, playing a vital role in shaping the brand’s product strategies and tech innovations. Before this, he was the Chief Product Officer at Policybazaar and held senior positions at major companies like Airtel, Paytm, Zomato, Reliance, and Samsung. With a degree from IIT Delhi, Chauhan has been instrumental in leading the product development and engineering teams at Mamaearth.
Mamaearth’s Success Amidst Change:

The company reported a revenue of Rs 554 crore for the first quarter of FY25, marking a 17.6% increase from the previous quarter. Additionally, its net profit surged by 62.9% year-on-year to Rs 40.2 crore, driven by strong sales and expanding profit margins.
