Hesa An Rural tech startup has raised  Mn seed round

Rural tech startup Hesa has raised $2 million in its seed round drove by Manish Modi of Mastermind Capital at Venture Catalysts (VCats) along with Accelerator Fund, 9Unicorns.

Established by Vamsi Udayagiri, Hesa partners with brands and helps in advancing and selling their items or administrations, including banking and financial administrations, in rural markets.

According to Vamsi, the company’s physical organization of village-level business people assisted by a digital trade platform at each village enables its organizations to reach the target audience.

The Hyderabad-based startup claims to have associated with more than 65 brands to 600,000 rural clients through 8000 Hesaathis in around 5000 Indian villages. It has restricted with brands across areas which incorporate Wycool, BigHaat, Walmart, HDFC Life, Reliance General Insurance and Apollo Hospital.

The lead financial backer of this round, Venture Catalysts has backed more than 88 startups since 2016 across various areas, for example, deeptech, B2B SaaS, fintech, AI and others.
