Futwork Secures INR 21 Crore Series A Funding to Accelerate AI-Driven Contact Center Innovations

Futwork, a Mumbai-based mobile app that revolutionizes contact center solutions, has successfully secured INR 21 crore in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation and Artha Venture Fund, with additional participation from D2C Insider Angels and investor Abhishek Goyal, Founder of Tracxn. This significant funding follows a previous seed round in 2022, where the company raised USD 1 million with support from Blume Ventures.

The newly acquired funds will be instrumental in scaling Futwork’s AI-driven contact center solutions, enhancing its offerings across various communication channels, including voice, chat, email, and WhatsApp. Additionally, the capital will support Futwork’s expansion into international markets.

Armaan Vananchal, Futwork’s Co-founder, shared the company’s commitment to a “human + AI” future, stating that the funds will be used to develop advanced AI tools to improve call performance, quality, and agent training. Founded in 2020 by Armaan Vananchal, Niranjan Nakhate, and Sri Ganapathy, Futwork provides a cost-effective platform for businesses to establish outbound calling teams, addressing needs such as product demonstrations, session bookings, and customer feedback collection across sectors like e-commerce, BFSI, and EdTech.

Sanjay Modi, Senior Director at the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, praised Futwork’s innovative approach, noting its potential to enhance India’s competitive edge and create job opportunities for thousands, particularly focusing on inclusivity and skill development in the tech industry.

Futwork’s platform not only facilitates work-from-home opportunities, especially benefiting women—over 500 female agents are currently leveraging this flexible work model—but also plays a vital role in sectors such as logistics, e-commerce, and BFSI. The company has attracted prominent clients including Flipkart, BharatPe, and DTDC, addressing critical customer service challenges like address verification and delivery issues.

Vananchal emphasized Futwork’s mission to blend human expertise with AI technology, enhancing agent performance and training, while positioning the company as a key enabler of job opportunities in the tech sector.
