Ltd. from Singapore, Daituzi Education Technology Corporation Limited, and Matrix Partners China. This latest funding round brings ODA Class’ total capital raised to $12.75 million.

Founded in 2019, ODA Class provides live online courses for students from classes 1 to 10, utilizing advanced AI technologies and creative marketing strategies. The startup’s mission is to deliver high-quality, accessible education at affordable rates. The new capital will be directed towards enhancing ODA Class’ technological infrastructure, particularly focusing on AI integration and digital marketing strategies. This investment is expected to play a crucial role in scaling their operations and achieving their enrollment target of 100,000 students by 2024.

Neeraj Kumar, Finance Head of ODA Class, commented on the funding: “With the latest funding, we are well-positioned to enhance our technological capabilities. Our focus on AI integration and digital marketing will help us provide accessible and quality education to students across the country.”

Financial Performance and Growth

ODA Class has demonstrated significant financial growth over recent years. The company’s revenue surged from Rs 26.90 crore in FY 2021-22 to Rs 63.76 crore in FY 2022-23, and further increased to Rs 65.81 crore in FY 2023-24. This upward trend reflects the company’s expanding reach and growing demand for its educational services.

In parallel with revenue growth, ODA Class has worked on optimizing its expenditures. The startup reported expenditures of Rs 79.20 crore in FY 2021-22, which increased to Rs 107.81 crore in FY 2022-23, before dropping to Rs 85.20 crore in FY 2023-24. The adjustments in spending highlight the company’s strategic approach to scaling efficiently while managing costs.
