BharatAgri (formerly LeanAgri), a computerized farm advisory startup, has raised $6.5 million in its Series A round drove by Omnivore. Existing backers such as India Quotient and 021 Capital have also participated in the round.

According to the Bengaluru-based startup, the funds will be used to expand its subscriber base past Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, ramp up its growth of its inputs marketplace and refine the existing technology offering.

Established by Sai Gole and Siddharth Dialani, BharatAgri provides start to finish decision-making support for farmers. It offers farmers an application based platform for AI-based agronomy services on a paid subscription basis, which increases farm incomes through the systematic implementation of scientific farming techniques.

The startup dispatched its portable application in five languages; it has over 1 lakh users apart from 25,000 paid farmers and claims to be the main organization in India that has had the option to adapt an information-based service in agriculture.

BharatAgri was also a part of the fourth cluster of 20 Indian startups which was selected by Google for Startups Accelerator India program in September 2020.
