Apnaklub a B2B wholesale stage brings .5 million up in seed round

Apnaklub, a B2B wholesale stage for quick shopper products (FMCG), on Monday reported it has brought $3.5 million up in a seed round from Sequoia Capital Indias Surge, bringing the complete assets raised so far to $5 million.

The Bengaluru-based startup said in a proclamation it interfaces India’s retailers, for example, ‘kirana’ and corner shops in semi-metropolitan and rustic regions, to a wide scope of shopper merchandise and brands by means of its organization of carefully associated wholesale accomplices.

“This financing will empower us to extend across more rustic regions in India just as increment our scope of administrations and items for our accomplices,” said Apnaklub’s Chief Operating Officer, Manish Kumar.

Apnaklub said its representative drove arrangement, known as the Apnaklub Partner Program, presently incorporates the cooperation of more than 5,000 wholesalers.

Apnaklub was established in July 2020 by Manish Kumar and Shruti.

Shruti recently worked at Omidyar Network and Bain and Company.

She is an IIT-Delhi gold medallist and a Harvard Business School graduate, the articulation said.

Manish Kumar has more than 20 years of involvement with the FMCG circulation area and has had influential positions at Walmart India, Metro Cash and Carry, and Future Group, it was expressed.
